DEAD RINGER (1964) *** It's one of those Good Twin murders Bad Twin mysteries. Bette Davis is both twins, even though it's really only her. The bad twin stole the man she loved and then he dies twenty years later. So Bette does in the bad twin. Comes to pass that the family dog that didn't like the bad twin kills the bad twin's boyfriend to protect the good twin. Of course then it turns out that the bad twin and bad twin's boyfriend killed the bad twin's husband, so the good twin ends up getting the death penalty for it. Which of course she arguably deserved for killing the bad twin. The bad twin's husband had left $50 grand to the good twin, and it turns out that the good twin had a cool boyfriend-the cop that pins the murder of the bad twin's husband on her and the bad twin's boyfriend who got killed by the dog that originally belonged to the bad twin.
