DRAGONLAND (1994) ** Sure an' it's an old tale an' a children's one. Of course there's always new children, so someone is sure to be hearin' it for the first time. No tragedy that, it's not done badly here. Of course they don't have much of an effects budget, or an eye for actors, or...well, there's all that but Scotland looks well and the dragon reminds me of me dog. Orphaned American youth relocates to near Glenmora, where he becomes a grown man with hair extensions. American tv executive lands helicopter in yard, where he's astonished by a dragon. Boy meets girl. Trouble ensures for dragon and others. Problem solved, happily ever after living and such. Children should take particular note that resolving problems involving internationalist corporate raiders necessitates multiple acts of violence, skirting the laws, then bringing the law down on them. Also to read contracts and not to trust old grey haired white men of any nationality. So, it's an instruction video then.
