THE FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS (1967) **1/2 Sharon Tate was a special actress and Roman Polanski is very good silly character actor. His hand gestures are particularly winning. He has an incredible eye for what is interesting to look at, and shades. The music is very appropriate and helps out. The gags are funny, but there just aren't enough of them, they're too far apart, and they aren't quite fully developed. Jack MacGowran has some fine facial expressions on the off-beat.
