THE AMAZING TRANSPARENT MAN (1960) *1/2 Well, he is pretty amazing, but he's really more invisible than transparent. Unless you're talking about his motivation. It's not quite in the "you seen one of these movies, you've seen 'em all," ('cause they're invisible, you see? heh) but the best of it is probably the above-average mad scientist lab. Unlike many of the others, though, Edgar G. Ulmer keeps things rolling along. I'm not saying it goes anywhere, but that it's on its way there without stopping to sniff too many smelly flowers. In this genre, that's almost enough to set you apart.
