DUCK TALES: THE MOVIE-TREASURE OF THE LOST LAMP (1990) ** Small minds are easily amused, and I really like the way Donald Duck talks. Unfortunately he's not in this, but the diction of Huey, Louie and Dewey is pretty good too. It's the young ducks thrust across a theme of Aladdin, opening with a healthy dose of Indiana Jones . Of course the closest thing to Indy here is Launchpad McQuack, and the genie is a duck. Ducks, in fact, abound. They even think that being a duck constitutes being "a real boy." Egypt looks funner than Duckburg, but there are worse places to be than in the comfort of your living room sharing some popcorn with your kids and sampling the slight and simple amusements that Scrooge McDuck and his kin have to offer.
