G-FORCE (2009) * I really like the idea of a unit of special agent guinea pigs saving the world. A lot, I really do. But-and this aspect of reality may shock me alone amongst all of humanity-this is really stupid. I like rats better. But these animals are all really dull, an outrage, particularly to the Star-nosed mole, who holds such a special place in the Kingdom Animalia . Some humans do too, but none of these. Bill Nighy is brilliant casting as a supervillain, but they give him nothing to work with. Nothing. Nada, nyet, null set. He can make something out of crap lines just by waving his arms around and sticking his nose up and stuff, but they don't even give him the screen time to get that going. So it's really dull. I'd rather play with my son's rats for 90 minutes, and I rarely hang out with them for more than three or four minutes at a time. Oh, well.
