HOW SHE MOVE (2007) ** Very cleaned up (I don't believe the word "mutherfucker" is heard even once) portrayal of Black urban dance culture. The dancers are impressive, the bleakness of the milieu apparent, the acting is fine if not memorable....that's what you get. It never quite rings true due to the general portrayal, which is fine for people who don't want to quite face up to that but just want a taste. I dunno, I'm not really one for choreographed dance, any choreographed dance, so it kind of pretty much misses me.
