SCOOBY-DOO AND THE LOCH NESS MONSTER (2004) **1/2 A favourite, incidentally, of Loch Ness locals: they consider its depiction of geography, the people and customs, and the spirit of the place a good deal more accurate than other Hollywood efforts. So, what would you expect the gang to do with a legend so bold, and a people with a culture so grand (and eccentric)? Yup, they do all that. And very appropriate, I think, they add an American hippie into the mix as sidekick-it wouldn't have been the same without him, as the Loch wouldn't be the same without all the visitors mucking about and adding confusion to every simple thing . I guessed virtually the entire film, literally before it even started, but that couldn't keep me from enjoying it so!
