SHERLOCK BONES (1994) ** NO , it's not a porn movie. It wouldn't surprise me much if there was one with the same name, but this is of a much more intellectual and celebrated genre: this is a talking dog movie. Now some people may not like talking dog movies, I know that they don't. That's ok, you don't have to watch. For those of us that do like talking dog movies.this one isn't really all that great, but it is a talking dog movie, and there just aren't enough of them. To make matters worse-or better-the entire thing is permeated with the feel of one of those afternoon television shows for very young children, that sense of pompousness and achievement well beyond anything in evidence. It takes place on Catalina Island, so someone's bound to like that. I've seen better dogs, I've seen way better actors, I've seen better boats.but I haven't had my fill of talking dog movies, so I enjoyed it.
