STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS (2008) *1/2 Not for me. Animated Star Wars? I think not. This? Definitely not. It's more a cartoon than a Star Wars, and the kind of cartoon that will invariably inspire me to change the channel. Loud, dark, stupid. Star Wars enthusiasts may enjoy it as some of the characters are familiar, the action is relentless, and they occasionally try to tie in some Star Wars philosophical theme or some such . The main thing it tells me is how lousy the actors in the second generation Star Wars flicks are: the depictions here are abysmal, but none of the actors are missed anyway.
