TARGET EARTH (1954) ** There's supposed to be an army of hundreds of robots in full-on invasion mode. But they could only afford to make one (1970s air conditioner unit-looking) robot, so you only get to see one at a time. I like that. I also like that the plot is such that it could have been made up by a dumber seven year-old in the sandbox. That way you don't have to work so hard to enjoy it. None of the actors are bad enough to be interesting, though, and that's particularly disastrous in a film where nothing much happens with such consistency. I have a half-mind to read the novel, which is about three times as much as it would take, a ha ha ha ha!!
