TO CATCH A YETI (1995) *1/2 This is, I think, primarily going to be of interest to the followers of the pop/rock super-legend Meatloaf. Myself, I loved Bat Out of Hell when it came out, and I still listen to it once in awhile-some other critic called him a poor man's version of Bruce Sprinsteen…if that makes sense. When some of my neighbours played it SO loud at 5 am at one of the their great parties of the past decade…I respected them for that. Here Mr Loaf is a great Texas bounty hunter in farce (I think), and he's pretty funny (and, again I think) supposed to be. They are, after all, chasing a Yeti around the house or whatever…but none of it's as great as that "Harry and the Hedersons" episode where the hot Eastern European chick opined "…all is darkness and death." Seems like the Loaf could make a cool song out of that!
