TORNADO! (1996) *1/2 It has some elements of authenticity, I hear some genuine Texas accents. The characters are not brilliantly drawn, but well drawn, and the actors all do good jobs of breathing some life into the roles. But you can't ever really get away from the reality that it's a film about a bunch of people you don't particularly care about, waiting for a tornado…so you wait and wait, knowing that the tornado will eventually come. It does, oh sorry, spoiler alert. So anyway, it's not a bad movie, or painfully dull, and Ernie Hudson is in it. He was in Ghostbusters!
