POKÉMON: THE RISE OF DARKRAI (2007) ** These Pokémons don't really engross me enough to try and remember all their names, but the first two seem like it's going to be a Godzilla monsters thing. But then it doesn't, it settles down into a more regular Pokémon, which is fine. It's only good if you're into Pokémon in the first place, you understand. Then you feel more like knowing who they are. If Pokémon's the edge of anime, it's a broad and blunt edge, but that's cool if you want it. Other than Pikachu's extraordinary vocabulary, my favorite part's the animated faces of the "bad" humans when they know they've done something wrong or are trying to get away with something. If your kid loves it-and so you have to watch-I'd advise you to look out for stuff like that. You'll be rewarded. I mean, not hugely but, you know.
