POKÉMON: THE MOVIE 2000 (2000) ** I admit that I'm not real crazy about Pokémons, but my son thinks they're the Rolling Stones, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Winston Churchill rolled into one...so I do my best to enjoy it. I mainly like Pokémons when they're standing around with their big round red toothless mouths hanging open in astonishment, being cute, and that would even probably get old in a full length feature. So they add a plot, which is fine, but it revolves more around the trainers than the Pokémons, which isn't as funny, for me. To be fair, they do put a great deal of thought into it (there's even a Pokémon card!), a developed plot but not so much so that the target audience can't follow it. It's kind of cool.
