KNICK KNACK (1989) **1/2 Well worth watching, even if it weren't of historic significance. It created, invented, whatever, the style that went mega-platinum in Toy Story and has thereby created work for proletarian computer artists for the ages, but it's better than much of its legacy. You can't expect much of a plot in four minutes (unless you got Kafka writing), so it's more a simple compare and contrast piece on sunny and cloudy dispositions, and an abbreviated meditation on desire. I've always liked Bobby McFerrin, without being particularly drawn to his work, and his pop-jazz-chill music is just perfect for this stuff.
