NOT SO DUSTY (1955) ** Two junkmen are rewarded for finding and returning diamonds, with a book. Diogenes, appropriately enough; and even more so when it turns out to be valuable and everyone starts looking for it. I'm pretty sure that I've seen this plot taped onto a different framework, about a million times, but it's all in the execution. Bill Owen and Leslie Dwyer have the spirit as the sharp-tongued blokes, and "resting" Shakespearean Roddy Hughes looks like he stole some scenes somewhere along the way. The only point where the film drags is, appropriately again, the Dustman's Ball.
