PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK (1975) * Perfectly mirrors its theme: slow, pretty, goes nowhere. It is, of course, terribly difficult to do a mystery if you don't know whodunnit; and all but pointless if, unlike say Oliver Stone in JFK, you don't even have a clue or anything to say about it. Some nice cinematography, but essentially celluloid Prozac with slightly nauseating side effects.
