TELL ME THAT YOU LOVE ME, JUNIE MOON (1970) **1/2 A meditation on rejection. And human interaction. And self-acceptance. Can't have looked like much on paper, but Liza Minelli, Ken Howard, and Robert Moore are very good. Otto Preminger puts together all the parts, the scenes where Howard is having episodes are particularly striking. Great song by Pete Seeger. Not sexy, or in-your-face briliant, or ambitious...but slowly and gently removes some of the hard to get at veils of existence. As Janis sang so sagaciously, "Get it while you can."
