THEY MET IN BOMBAY (1941) **1/2 Very witty dialogue, mainly from Clark Gable, who is very funny (on purpose). He and Rosalind Russell are jewel thieves that hitch up and would run amok indefinitely if the war didn't creep in, at which point the film, like everything else at the time, becomes militaristic propaganda. Very fun, just looking at him it's difficult to imagine that Mr. Gable was always wasted, and reeking of cigarettes and rotgut.
