THE INVISIBLE MAN (1933) *1/2 Early cinematic meditation on hard drug abuse and terrorism. Naturally the drugs that make the guy invisible fuck with his head so, like Pinky & the Brain, he tries to take over the world all the time. Interesting lead role for Claude Rains, who isn't visible until the final twenty seconds. The Lion's Head looks like a nice place for an imperial pint actually, so long as Rains isn't around and none of the locals try and talk to you.
