THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH (1956) *** Americans behave irresponsibly with their child in Morocco, resulting in Jimmy Stewart getting smacked over the head by a priest and swinging from a bell in public. Doris Day fares little better, being forced to sneak around Royal Albert Hall without a ticket, and this fully fourteen years before Led Zeppelin showed up. The Marrakech phone book is a memorable Hitchcock touch, and Doris sings "Que Sera, Sera" with even more gusto in bad times than good, as it should be.
