AUSTIN POWERS IN GOLDMEMBER (2002) *1/2 Revolting, disgusting, stupid, insipid and inane, and a slight improvement on the first Austin Powers flick. The problem isn't that Mike Myers can't figure out anything funny to do or say, but that it all gets very old by the fifteen minute mark. It's like a little kid on the playground who's funny at first, until he gets all obsessed with some dog dookie. After that, the funniest bits are Robert Wagner standing around with an eye patch, and, you know, that isn't really all that funny. Beyoncé has a pretty good soul chick rap groovin, but it's more of a sensible relief than anything else, in these surroundings.
