BIGGLES (1985) **1/2 Time-travel kids war flick marinated in '80s soundtrack. Fun though, really. Just enough science to keep things rolling along, and the philosophical implications are thankfully disregarded. Just lots of action, a few attempts at one liners.there's not really all that much you can objectively celebrate about it, but the truth is that it's all pretty fun. The kids laugh and jump. It's interesting the contrast between World War I, a time of danger and heroism; and the 1980s, a time of business meetings and food critics. I think I'd go for the '80s, meetings and food critics (of which I've occasionally been one) are easier to avoid.
