DICK TRACY'S DILEMMA (1947) *1/2 Dick Tracy battles The Claw, but the most entertaining bits have to do with the sideshow, Vitamin (Ian Keith). Ralph Byrd almost has the jaw for the title role, but he's about as intimidating as a front porch and appears to be possessed by the genius of a grocery cart. They must have liked their heroes more normal back then. Sunday comics noire, but without the external support system. I guess you had to be a kid at the time, like the Banana Splits, or something.
