HOME ALONE 4 (2002) *1/2 There's such thing as too much of a good thing, obviously, but less celebrated is too much of a not really all that good thing. The good thing about such a thing isn't necessarily so much that you know what to expect, then, as you know what to expect. So if you watch it, it's basically your own damn fault. High art it ain't, entertaining it occasionally is.I guess one of the better parts is the direct correlation the film rolling through the machine has with the emergent progress of the second hand, so you can kind of get tuned in and end up taking a nap. Kindly, they don't subject us to too many juvenile strategies, instead opting for French Stewart-light impersonations of low-level low-life life. Family values are celebrated at the expense of wanton materialism.
