SCOOBY-DOO! IN ARABIAN NIGHTS (2004) ** I don't know, call me old fashioned, but when I watch a Scooby-Doo movie I like for Scoob to be in the whole thing. Instead we get a ten minute set-up before Shaggy dresses up in drag and starts telling tales of the East that feature neither Shag nor Scoob. The efforts towards a magical lamp story is better than the faux pleasure cruise, not least because Yogi the Bear as a picnic basket-infatuated genie produces some pretty good moments. It's all enjoyable enough, if you're tired or desperate or a Scooby completist, but nothing to get all that excited about. Not like Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders !
