STAY TUNED (1992) ø I'm not saying that it's a bad movie because it's too disgusting for children, and too stupid for adults. I'm saying that it's a bad film because it's too disgusting for septic technicians and too stupid for anyone. It wouldn't be encouraging if put forward by the worst student in a remedial script writing class. The concept revolves around television shows in which people suffer, and if that's what you're into you can just go to a showing of this. The stuff on screen should be satisfactory, but watch the audience if you're into hardcore. I don't feel sorry for John Ritter or Pam Dawber, but I probably should. They made names for themselves on tv shows carried by someone else, they thought they were popular, they thought they were good. No one has ever been good enough to carry something like this.
